Burton Dickerson : ウィキペディア英語版 | Burton Dickerson Burton Dickerson (born January 1925) is an American artist and World War II veteran living in Mount Pleasant, Michigan. He served in the 47th Infantry, 9th division, which was deployed in North Africa, Sicily, and France.〔http://lcweb2.loc.gov/diglib/vhp/bib/55387〕 His work includes large abstract expressionist paintings, dancing figures, and cartoons. In the 1980s, he created a stop motion video for the band, Mr. Wilson. More recently, he produced "Pyrrhic Victory" for the group Thanatopsis (music by Travis Dickerson and Buckethead). He is the son of Lyle Linden Dickerson, a well-known fly fishing rod crafstman.
